Comprehensive and Convenient in Real-time

The new solution introduces automated and fully integrated management of a delivery process that used to be tracked with pen and paper and involved several media disruptions. Now the entire order process is in electronic form, from the acceptance of the customer's order, of the goods, the dispatching and loading of the vehicles, and final billing, which is automatically generated.

LOGON provides real-time information on the status of orders and location of goods. RFID tags on delivery trucks, trains, silos and loading stations deliver continuous information feeds. RFID data, combined with mobile order processing (MOP) via GPS, allows dispatchers to efficiently control and guarantee distribution.

For the implementation of the LOGON solution, AdNovum first developed a generic integration platform that incorporates existing standard components (SAP) and special internal systems (weighing system). The end result is a solution created in close partnership with Holcim Switzerland and third-party providers that allows the cement giant to excel in its core business of cement distribution.

Mobile Order Processing (MOP) is integrated via Nufatron's Transpo-Drive® LOGON was integrated. All events that occur during delivery of the order are immediately communicated to the web-based disposition cockpit of LOGON. As a result, processing of orders can be seamlessly visualized and monitored at real-time. Holcim staff can keep track of orders throughout the delivery process and, in the case of incidents, take appropriate measures without delay.
